Free for two weeks from first open. After that, lessons 1–10 of every level with their 默写 sentences and their themes' 口试 passages, and all of 听写 and 写一写, stay free for good.
What is inside
One map per level, 698 lessons. Each lesson takes its words through ten stages: read the pinyin, match, choose the English, find the word in a sentence, build the sentence, fill the gap, explain it in Chinese, write it from memory, a passage read, a passage heard.
100 mock papers, one road per level: 60 to 101 questions, 55 to 140 minutes, the shape of the real sitting. A practice switch turns the clock off and marks each question as you go.
The word is spoken; write it character by character on the 米字格, stroke by stroke. 默写: a whole sentence in six steps, the last from memory. 汉字: any of 9,546 characters, stroke order drawn out, no account.
Model passages with pinyin above every character. Tap a line to hear it, a word for its meaning, or slow the reading down.
Level, buddy, badges, the font, settings. Hints beside the Chinese in 12 languages; the Chinese itself is never translated.
Price
A subscription adds every lesson, 默写 sentence and 口试 passage past the free ones. No adverts, no tracking SDKs; progress stays on the device unless you sign in with Google, which carries it to another device.
